Libraries Offer eBooks!

More and more libraries across the USA are offering ebooks to their patrons. Like paper books, there will only be so many copies of ebooks available for checkout. Unlike paper books, you don’t have to bring the ebooks back. The ebooks are downloaded to your reading device for a specified period of time… When the time is up, the ebook can no longer be accessed (and because they automatically revert back to the library, there are never any late fees!).

There is also an online library you can download books from. Most of the books are public domain classics, but the classics are some of the best books ever written! You can access the online library by clicking here. I’m sure there are more libraries offering ebooks online, but the one I’m linking to was so cool they received the “Cool Site of the Day Award” from Kim Komando!

Another EXCELLENT source of information is the Digital Book Index. I’m quoting here… “Digital Book Index provides links to more than 165,000 full-text digital books from more than 1,800 commercial and non-commercial publishers, universities, and various private sites. More than 140,000 of these books, texts, and documents are available free.”

Okay, I’ve just given you links to a million or so ebooks… That should keep you busy until tomorrow… I’m going to bed now!
